To celebrate this Fourth of July, we will take a journey to discover the incredible sacrifices our founding fathers endured not just in battle but on the home front. Five signers were captured by the British as traitors and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons in the revolutionary army, and another had two sons captured. Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War. Tonight we pay homage to those sacrifices and see what we can learn from them on how to stay sound-minded during turbulent times.
