The Matthew XVIII Group is a ministry dedicated to waking up the Church to the social science which has
overtaken it in the realm of life and marriage. Unwittingly in many cases, since 1950, the Church has
relied upon Alfred Kinsey’s fraudulent science, especially in the area of sex education, leading to
devastating effects on children, women, and the institution of marriage. Evolutionist Kinsey openly
expressed his intent with his research was to strip morality and “Victorian” repression from America’s
view of human life, focusing on man’s animal nature. After 60 plus years of Kinsey’s evolutionist view of
the human life and “sexuality” America is measurably not better off since his “science” entered the
Church and America life. Sexual disease and dysfunction are pandemic.
Our mission can be accomplished by:

Informing and warning the Church of the old errors from the Kinsey reports through The Matthew
XVIII Group website, numerous publications and videos, and public speaking appearances.
Providing a list of the difficult to find Christian materials that are accurate and age appropriate based
on God’s Word and not based on or mixed up with prevailing Kinseyan fraudulent science.
Encourage Christian parents to take the lead in giving their children the truth about God’s life process
through parenting books, webinars, and public speaking events.

CORE VALUES TO BE STRESSED IN THIS MINISTRY:

GOD values children’s moral innocence! (This is the primary core value to be stressed right now)
-It is not about SEX EDUCATION; but using MODESTY when talking to children and young adults about
God’s life process emphasizing CHASTITY, PURITY AND SELF CONTROL.
-It was Planned Parenthood, the pornography industry and Dr. Alfred Kinsey’s idea to talk to children
about the act, the genitals and so much more today.
-We need to look at children through Jesus eyes and not the world’s eyes…..they are not “sexual from
birth” but made in the image and likeness of God. We need to equip them in such a way that they are
not naive but morally innocent and allowed to be children for as long as possible.

It is not about ABORTION; but are we open to LIFE?

Once we were no longer open to children (whenever God deemed them), birth control became legal
and then abortion. We had to be open to chemically aborting our babies before we could surgically
abort our babies.
–Christian women have Alfred Kinsey, Margaret Sanger, and Planned Parenthood to thank for the
freedom to use chemical contraception; prior to the Sexual Revolution it was illegal.

God loves the sinner but hates the sin! Thanks to the pornography industry, acts that were considered
“abominations” in God’s eyes became normalized and are encouraged and performed by “heterosexual”
Christian married couples as well. Kinsey’s science allowed for the institutionalization of immorality and
the legalization of sodomy in America and the church needs a better message on this topic. Pastors can
no longer tell Christian couples “whatever you do behind closed doors as long as it is mutual is
acceptable” or that “we all have same sex attraction”; this is based on the fraud “science” of Dr. Alfred
Kinsey. What we do behind closed doors affects a nation!

THERE ARE 4 TARGET AUDIENCES FOR THIS MINISTRY:

The Shepherds: We need to equip the shepherd in the foxhole and educate the spiritual leaders of
this nation to battle sexual immorality more boldly and effectively. Shepherds need to know the enemy’s plan so that they are not part of the problem, but part of the solution. There are too many Christian leaders that are promoting Kinsey’s “science” (perhaps naively) to other Christians.

The Parents: We are children of the sexual revolution and know nothing of the modesty, chastity,
purity standard that used to be upheld in this country. Parents are the first and last line of defense for
their children; we need to equip them to be able to raise pure children in a sexualized society!
The Youth: Youth are hungry for the message of purity! They see the carnage around them from the
sexual revolution. They need to know there was a plan to take down this Christian nation and that they,
with the guidance of God’s Word, can turn this nation around.
The Christian Institutions: the focus is on Christian colleges and Crisis Pregnancy Centers. We also
network with “Spirit filled” Christian organizations. The sexual revolution began at Indiana University
where Alfred Kinsey taught his first human sexuality class (under the guise of a marriage course) which
spread to all universities (including Christian). How exciting that we began to counter this through a
small on-line college (Master’s International University of Divinity)! Some Crisis Pregnancy centers are
already talking about the pill causing abortions and encouraging youth in purity vs. abstinence; we need
to help educate these centers why this is so critical for them to continue to step away from the popular
messages and stick to the biblical truth!

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare
are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high
thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God bringing into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

MINISTRY HISTORY:
In 1997 Audrey Werner, former sex educator, was working in the Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic
where she provided testing and treatment for STD’s as well as HIV testing and counseling for clients of
all ages in the state of Michigan. At the same time, her oldest son was entering Kindergarten at a
Lutheran School where the “Learning about Sex” series was being taught. It seemed to her that the
more sex educators talked to kids about sex, the earlier these children were becoming sexually active.
She also noted the date rape and child sex abuse rates were exploding and wondered if there was a
connection to sex education, so she began her research.
What she found was not only the origins of sex education but the plan behind the sexual revolution,
which really began in America in the 1920’s. The “Learning about Sex” series had the same origins as
secular sex education: the fraud science of Alfred Kinsey, funding from leaders in the pornography
industry, officials from Planned Parenthood, and adults who believed in the LGBT and Pro-pedophile
causes.
The dilemma became, how should Audrey approach Lutheran leaders regarding this devastating error
that has harmed thousands of children over the course of the past 50 years? The only answer was to
use the Biblical process of Matthew 18:15-17 which was to go directly to the leaders of the church with
this error. Audrey began this Matthew 18 approach in her son’s Lutheran school and then quickly
moved to leaders in the top offices of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. As Kinsey’s “science” was
found in most Christian materials on sexuality, it became a monumental task put on Audrey’s heart to
wake up all Christians across the world on this error and encourage them back to teaching the standard
of biblical purity instead of education for children that focused on “sex.”
